Props and Costumes
With this video, the costumes were something that were thought about a lot. We wanted to make the character seem genuinely like someone who could be singing the song. That's why we kept it pretty plain and simple for the main character.
We used a blue coat for him as it is the colour that mostly portrays sadness as well as loneliness. This fits the entire theme of the video. It also fits along well with the colouring of the video, it has harsher and colder tones again helping to show a more sad side. The jacket worn was from the shop Barbour. This is a fairly expensive shop but can match with the target audience of the artist/video. It is more of a higher ABC1 class type of band, their tickets run for about about £50 therefore meaning they seem to appeal more to the richer audience rather than those from the lower class.
