Merchandise and Marketing Opportunities
Below are three different shirt designs that could be used for some kind of merchandise for my artiste. They are all very different but each unique to the band.
This shirt shows the LEGO™ man. This is the same picture that is on the Digipak cover however it has been enlarged so it only includes the toy rather than the big white background of the cover. I chose to create this design because it is recognisable to my artist. If it is a cover, people are likely to see it and know whose shirt they're looking at. I also included a PNG of their older logo on the top of the shirt just incase people don't know. It can educate others passing by, especially if they like the shirt, they can go and buy one.
This shirt is very simplistic. It is for someone who maybe isn't too much into fancy designs or complicated shirts but they still want to represent the band. I used a circle instead of the letter 'O' just to break up the text a little, to make it look more unique. This design could be considered more feminine due to the fact the writing is pink however I don't think this should stop a male from ordering one too.
This shirt will come in two colours as you can see from the front design. It will be a plain solid block colour of either red or blue. The design for this is on the back of the shirt. This design is quite commonly used but is liked by a lot of people. It is a football jersey design. I included the band name as well as the year they began performing. This is something that can be worn quite casually with both males and females. People may be intrigued in the design as people always look to see what players people are wearing on the back of their t-shirts.
